Arrangement of Documents
The next step is to arrange the documents. Detailed explanation about how you should arrange these documents are as follows:

  1. Letters Of Recommendation
When the final year begins, as soon as possible start talking to the respective professors who are ready and will give you recommendations. Hence, it isn’t that simple to get recommendations from your teachers or professors unless you have an excellent rapport with them. Get to know how to butter them and make sure they write well about you.
  2. Transcripts
An official document which comprises all your marks in detail in a single sheet and is issued by your college is known as Transcripts. For this you have to make frequent visits to your college office for getting the sample transcript, entering out-and-out details starting from semester 1 till the current semester for all the subjects, approving it, getting it stamped and sealing it.
  3. Bank Statement
Honestly, the arrangement of this document isn’t very difficult. Primarily, you need to know how much you are willing to spend for the next two years. Talk to your bank’s branch manager and attested copies of the bank statement which will be your certification of your financial solvency.

You can make ready an affidavit easily by going to the court and narrating the exact details to the lawyer to fill in. Make sure that the bank statement and affidavit amounts are the same. Preparing this document doesn’t take more than a day once you know who is your sponsor and the exact amount.
  5. State Of Purpose (SOP)
SOP is the heart of the application process which is one and only document which is supposedly compulsory. Get a few opinions from your seniors whether you have written all the data properly and from an English expert for the grammar and language. Although you may secure a good score in GRE, try to keep language simple.
  6. Resume
Final process of application is Resume. Resume is a document highlighting your achievements, skills, knowledge, GRE and TOEFL or IELTS scores, co-curricular activities, short note on your academic projects, and Personal Details.
  7. If you are an International Student applying abroad

If you are an international student, you might have to send your transcripts and
any other documents stated by the universities via post. For that, you would be
required to start the process as early as possible, so that any possible delay in the
courier services wouldn’t affect your application deadlines.

Although most universities now prefer a scanned copy of the original documents uploaded
online, you should still keep a note of the guidelines of the universities
beforehand.

If you get selected by the University, International students have additional
processes to go through, like submitting other documents and information on
acquiring a student Visa.

These include proofs of available financial support, which claim that you can afford an education at their institute. Once these verifications are completed, you would receive an I20 which is crucial for
acquiring a student visa. These steps, if followed carefully, would help you to systematically complete the process of applying to your selected universities and bring you a step ahead to your dream of pursuing education abroad!
